ACDC is a 50 / 50 indica / sativa hybrid strain with around 15-20% CBD and just 1% THC. It is generally non-intoxicating due to its low THC percentage. This strain is known to help with treating epilepsy, pain, multiple sclerosis, nausea, anxiety and chemo-related symptoms.
The strain was bred by Dr. William Courtney using a packet of high CBD strain Cannatonic feminized seeds he acquired in Spain. When he recorded one of the offsprings with an incredible CBD:THC ratio of 22:1, he propagated the plant and gave it the name “AC/DC” - which stands for “Alternative Cannabinoid / Dietary Cannabis”.
